WoW Upgrades - The item upgrading Upgrader

Upgrades can give you boosts in certain statistics. Each upgrade increases the level of an item by +3. A random substat is also added to every upgrade.

The upgraded gear is usually more valuable, unless it has a low requirement by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a large variance in stats (like eth Titan weapons). Upgrades aren't as useful for the latter due to the need to roll the perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader lets players upgrade their gear by transferring the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied on any type of armor or weapons. However, the item upgrading that is used for the upgrade will remain in use for a long time and cannot be used again. Upgrades can be applied to the enchantments.

You can upgrade your equipment at any time by visiting the upgrader in any major city. To keep your gear up-to-date it is recommended you visit the upgrader every several weeks.

Upgrades will cost more, based on the item level, however, they are always cheaper than purchasing new gear. Upgrades such as upgrading a Benthic chest to 385 ilvl will cost you 20 recycle points. If you purchase a similar item, it will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are functional items which can be used to level up weapons, tools, armor, and other items. They are purchased by players through item upgrader NPCs in exchange for different currencies, and may also be found in random treasure lists. Once an upgrade is purchased, it can be used on any weapon, tool, or armor using a button, which displays an image of the item when it is upgraded when the player has enough materials.

The cost of upgrading is based on the item slot and the current item upgrades level as well as the level of the weapon, which is more than gloves or bracers for example. Each upgrade costs 15 Flightstones and a variety of crests, with certain upgrades offering discounts to lower the cost of the Flightstones or crests used. Once an item has been upgraded to a certain degree, it can be downgraded and sold to the upgrader at a lower cost.

Crests

When upgrading equipment in WoW, players have a few choices. Flightstones are an option that is accessible to everyone who wants to upgrade. Crests are more specialized, and are used during specific item Level upgrade (nutris.net) level upgrades. Crests are a key element of the Dragonflight gear progression system introduced in 10.1 and are available in four ranks.

First, you should know that Crests are only available to equipment that is of a certain rank. Each rank has an upgrade path that is different. The most basic and straightforward upgrade path costs 15 crests, while the most complicated requires as many as 20 crests based on the kind of gear that is being upgraded.

Players can earn crests by completing content of the appropriate level, whether that means walking around and doing outdoor activities to get lower-tier gear, dungeons or raids of all difficulties for higher-tier items or Mythic+ dungeons or heroic raid bosses for endgame gear. The crests can later be exchanged at an item upgrader NPC, like Cuzolth in Dornogal, or Vaskarn in Valdrakken, for the appropriate upgrade paths and steps.

The new currency system isn't complicated to use, however it brings some changes to the upgrade process. For instance, once a piece of equipment reaches the highest level of upgrading for any rank (Explorer, Adventurer, Veteran, Champion, Hero, or Mythic), it will no longer require Flightstones to be upgraded. This change is intended to allow players to get their gear up to the highest ilvl possible for all their characters instead of relying only on seasonal loot.

It's also essential to use crests in a wise manner, as they only have one use. It is best to use your Whelpling-rank Crests on the best gear you can find, and save Drake and Wyrm Crests to be used for the next set of upgrades. This is especially true for items like trinkets and rings that occupy multiple slots on the character which will only be able to take advantage of the discount for all accounts when all slots are filled with top-quality gear.
