Line-up

Turn Back, the band's third studio album is an attempt to return to the classic sextet structure and it was a more consistent, more powerful album with a sharper edge. Its more punk-rock sound was a reflection of the maturation of the group and included drummer Bobby Kimball's greater ability on the drums and an improved, mature vocal delivery from singer Joseph Williams. David Paich's keyboard playing was as well more refined, more precise and less akin to earlier efforts.

After touring to promote their album, the group recorded their Amsterdam live concert which was released on Eagle Records as a 2-CD set entitled Falling In Between.
