World of Warcraft - Item Upgrade

The feature of upgrading items allows players to boost the item level for equippable weapons or armor. This boosts the stats of that equipment, in addition to sometimes adding buffs or rolling an affix again.

It is important to keep in mind that upgrading common gear is not always worth it. Rare and exclusive equipment will quickly surpass modernized equipment and magic.

Cost

When a player decides to upgrade an item, they must spend Gold to do so. The cost of upgrading an item is dependent on its current level and type of upgrade selected. For instance upgrading a weapon is generally be less expensive than upgrading armor, as weapons require lower levels of skill. The amount of Gold required increases as an item is upgraded.

A newly upgraded item will also have improved stats, which can boost its performance in a variety of ways. This includes increasing the power of its attack critical strike chance, or damage per second. In addition, an upgraded item may be able to offer additional buffs to the unit it is equipped with. These upgrades can be used to increase the overall strength of a unit or individual unit, and may have a significant impact on the gameplay.

The items can be upgraded at any NPC who is an upgrader in the game. These NPCs are located in major questing areas, or capital cities. Players can also locate item upgraders when they visit dungeons with high-level bosses and by talking to NPCs in their garrisons of their faction.

The World of Warcraft item upgrade system lets players increase the level of weapons, armor and trinkets. This procedure is similar to the reforging process used in Mists of Pandaria or Warlords of Draenor. However, instead of using currency, players need to visit an upgrader for their item to complete the process.

Upgrades can be costly, especially for weapons and armor. Depending on which upgrade track you select, each item upgrade can cost Crests or Valorstones. The cost can be prohibitive for players who do not have the resources or are unwilling to grind.

Fortunately the game allows players to play a reroll of an upgraded item by using a special tool in the menu for items. This option replaces the upgraded item with an unlevel 1 version that has different bonus effects. This is useful to gain better results on items that have already been upgraded. However, it could be a waste of time.

Requirements

The process of upgrading items that are equippable such as weapons, armor and trinkets is to increase the item level. This can increase their effectiveness which makes them more powerful in combat. Players can upgrade their gear by paying the appropriate currency at a NPC who sells upgrades for items. Players must be aware of the fact that some upgrades require special requirements.

Initial upgrades only boost the power of the item's base level. Later upgrades offer more significant enhancements. Upgrades from levels 3 to 6 will increase the weapon's damage plus two levels. In addition, the upgraded item will receive a bonus stat, which is based on its tier. This bonus consists of a guaranteed extra substat as well as a random stat that will change in value from upgrade to upgrade.

Reroll Tokens can be used to reroll an item that has been upgraded. The new item will feature a different set of extra bonuses and a lower level of base item. The rerolled item is also likely to have different requirements for strength and dexterity. It is important to note that the rerolled item won't be able to keep its original strength or have any of its wasted resources.

Some upgraded items can only be rerolled only if the original item was a Unique, Rare or Epic. Some exceptional items can also be suitable for rerolling, however their original stats will be replaced by an uninvolved bonus. This means that rerolling an item that is Rare item will result in a Normal version the same type, while rolling an Epic item will result in an Elite version of the same kind.

Upgraded items may have additional modifications that can enhance their performance and boost their stats. These additional modifiers do not come with the upgrade price. They can be obtained through questing, buying them on the Trading Post or from other players. Alternatively, they can be earned by completing certain missions in the game.

To upgrade a piece equipment, you must visit the NPC [Armor] Boboko located in Central Flarine. Based on the type of item, you will need one or more Power Dices (Dice 6 is available from monsters 21+ and Giants while Dice 12 can be obtained from Bosses). You will also require different amounts of Minerals, Erons and Giants.

Time

Upgrades to items are a method to boost your ship's stats and gear without needing to level them up. Although upgrading isn't inexpensive, it's an effective way to boost your performance without having to spend a lot of time fighting. It's crucial to understand the costs and benefits of item upgrades prior to investing money or time.

Each upgrade boosts the item's base stat in a specific amount, and gives a chance to get a bonus substat. The random substat may range from a small boost to a massive boost. Make sure to focus on the stats that perform Best item upgrader in slot first. They will provide a greater return for your investment.

You can check the time required to complete an upgrade item when you open your inventory and select the weapon, ship or accessory. The upgrade window will show the expected completion time and progress. In certain cases, you may be able speed up the upgrade process by applying a Glyph.

Black Lion Salvage or Ascended Salvage offer a salvage kit which allows you to salvage all or a portion of upgrade components. However, this doesn't include legendary equipment and upgrades that can only be recovered by using an Upgrade Extractor or returning them to the appropriate merchant of karma.

Rewards

Item upgrading rewards players with a number of items and currencies. Each upgrade also has the chance of granting a random stat bonus. The bonus value is different for each upgrade, and it's usually more expensive for rarer items. Players can use a Great Vault search to see whether an item is upgradeable prior to spending tickets. The search can also help determine whether the item is a certain tier and if the player would benefit from an upgrade.

During the upgrade, the item will slowly move closer to the next level but not always reach the maximum upgrade bar. This process uses Growthstones and Sollant however there is a chance of obtaining a fully upgraded item within just one cycle. The more levels an item attains the higher its boosted stat value and the more items it can upgrade to.

Upgrade components can be added to trinkets, armor, and weapons in order to gain an attribute bonus or a special effect, when the equipment is worn. Certain upgrade components also have cosmetic effects. Players can obtain upgrade components through crafting, purchasing from vendors or the Trading Post, looting, or obtaining a reward. Players can also retrieve upgraded items by using an Upgrade extractor, or salvage with a high tier salvage kit. Glyphs that are positioned on tools for gathering can be swapped freely.

By selecting the item and pressing the green button that has a rerolling arrow, a player can roll it into an upgradeable item. This will change the layout and allow players to choose up to six items for "recycling". The item will be replaced with one of the level 1 items. Recycled items don't keep their current level or amount of resources used to upgrade them.

The maximum level of upgrade for an item is determined by the item's level and its quality. Rare and Epic items can be upgraded to levels up to nine, whereas common items are only upgraded up to level six. Upgrades to items are added to the base statistics of the item, meaning that they won't increase after a certain amount.
