Claire also liked the spacious shopping basket that is available from the seat or carrycot unit in any position and can accommodate a full pack of nappies as well as a change bag!

Lastly, the Xplory X is a premium pram 2 in 1 from Stokke and is suitable for babies from birth. It comes with the frame, a pushchair seat and a lie-flat carrycot but other accessories like the rain cover will have to be purchased separately. It's an excellent choice for those who love the look of a modern Scandinavian-designed pram with a unique and functional frame that lets you interact closely with your baby.

Thule's air purifier canopy is a standout too, with an inbuilt fan that purifies the air you breathe to eliminate bacteria, viruses, pollen and other contaminants. The company claims it can clean up 150 liters of air every minute and can connect to an app that will show your local air quality.

The only drawback is the price. Although it's cheaper than some other 2-in-1 prams, the entire kit costs more than PS1,000. This is especially difficult to accept when you have alternatives such as the Thule Spring that is lighter and more compact and costs half the price.

Thule's strollers are famous for their durability, and I've seen them put through the testing rig at the Thule Hillerstop HQ in Sweden. To test the durability and quality of their prams they drop them from high places and then crash them down slopes. They also traverse a bumpy track in the snow. They certainly look great!
