The one-handed, Z-shape folding is a breeze and is extremely compact once you master it. It can take a couple of minutes to fold. Our tester found the auto-lock somewhat difficult to understand, and also because the handlebar doesn't lock in its position when you push it, it hit her leg when she was using it. She also felt the handlebar was a bit on the short side particularly with a large changing bag hanging off of it.

This double stroller is not as light as other buggies. It's got a broad range of features, and is among the most versatile double strollers available on the market. It's compatible with two carry cots (available separately) and offers multiple recline positions, and an UV 50+ canopy. You can even add an additional bassinet to one or both seats and transform it into a travel system.

The four tires made of rubber are great for pavements as well as urban terrain. However, they were not designed for off-roading. They struggled with gravel and long grass and there was not enough clearance between the wheel bracket and wheel which meant that mud could get stuck easily. Our tester loved this vehicle, and it was able to climb some pretty hillocks that were muddy.

It's a heavier tandem buggy however it's extremely easy to use and steer, particularly on smooth pavements. It's stable in double and single modes and even on sloped ground. It's not as easy to drive on public transport, however, because it requires more than one hand to grip the handlebar. It's also a bit bulky and won't fit into a standard car boot with the seat on, but this is a problem that can be overcome with some careful planning. iCandy includes the footmuff and changing bag in the price, making this an excellent value for new parents.

Overall, our test participants were impressed by the Nipper double's ability let them take their twin daughters Sydney and Lyla to all sorts of adventures. From spotting wildlife in a forest or rushing to a park for a playdate They loved it. The testers were also awed by how spacious and comfortable the two seats are. There's plenty of room for growing toddlers. Our testers did mention, however, that the absence of parent-facing seating and the inability to use car seats with this buggy was a drawback, and they would have liked to have seen more storage space to store shopping items and other accessories.
