World of Warcraft Item Upgrades

Item upgrades are a key element of enhancing your character. Upgrades increase the damage of your item and enhancements.

They also provide bonuses and enhancements. They can be acquired by contacting the Blacksmith.

The upgrade button is located on any item upgrading. Each recycled item adds a level to the gauge for upgrading.

Weapons

When a weapon gets upgraded, it receives a base damage bonus, as well as an increase in the scaling factor that affects other stats. Certain upgrade components come with aesthetic effects while others give additional benefits. These upgrades can be slotted into armor, weapons trinkets and gathering tools, and most require that the equipment has an upgrade slot that is available and meet certain requirements. If a weapon piece has an upgrade component in it, it can be upgraded, but the previous upgrade will be destroyed (except for legendary equipment and upgrades). Upgrade components can be retrieved using a Black Lion Salvage Kit or Ascended Salvage Tool, or using a high-end salvage tool on the item it self.

In addition to the normal upgrades, a weapon may be upgraded using the Calibration Attribute which improves certain stats like Weakspot Damage or Crit Rate. This can be done via the Gear Workbench interaction menu. Based on the tier of the weapon, this can be done up to four times.

When the weapon reaches its maximum upgrade and is then rebuilt to add additional bonuses and effects or improve specific stats. Many of these upgrades can be applied simultaneously, and the effects differ based on the quality of the weapon.

There are two Blacksmiths in the game who can perform these upgrades: Blacksmith Hewg in the Church of Elleh hub area as well as Smithing Master Iji in the Road to the Manor Site of Grace. The upgrade materials are both different: Smithing Stones to modify the damage a weapon deals and Somber Smithing Stones to modify the standard weapons.

In general, it's Best item upgrade to upgrade your weapon damage first. Then, you can upgrade your armor defense, and then the secondary stats that are required by your build. It is not unusual to see melee Druids upgrade their weapons before upgrading any other equipment. This helps maximize DPS. This is especially applicable to enchantments, which are extremely efficient in increasing a weapon's damage and other stats.

Armor

Item Upgrades allow players to improve the base stats of certain armor pieces, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools. These upgrades can also bring additional effects, for example, more damage or cosmetic enhancement. Item upgrades are available through crafting, buying from NPC vendors or loot drops, or as quest rewards.

The quality of armor can be upgraded by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. The majority of armor upgrades to the next level following an upgrade. The majority of armor types are upgradeable, however some items (such as the starter armour found in Great Sky Island) cannot.

The majority of armor upgrades boost the item Upgrade's strength or defense by only a tiny amount. Some upgrade components, however, could result in significant improvements in defense or strength. This is especially true when upgrading epic items.

In addition to increasing the defense of an item, certain upgrades also give specific abilities that can be activated when wearing an armor. These abilities can be beneficial in combat, such as giving a boost to attack speed or blocking. Some upgrades have passive effects that can be beneficial for example, reducing damage while wearing armor, or increasing the chance to dodge an attack.

Upgrades to armor can require several attempts, depending on the type of armor. For example, if a player wanted to upgrade an existing Steelclash armor to Dragonscale, the first attempt will result in a brand new piece of Dragonscale with a base defense between 59-67. The second attempt will result in a brand new Dragonscale armor with the base defense between 67 and 77 and so on.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild allows players to upgrade their armor sets up to level 4. To do so players must visit each of the four locations known as Great Fairy Fountains in the game. Each of these locations contains a fair with a great power that can upgrade a piece of armor for you.

Contrary to popular belief, armor in The Division 2 is not useful. Certain armors give a substantial boost to the reduction of damage from poison or curse, magic or fire. This makes them very beneficial for certain builds. There are other methods to increase the strength of armor apart from upgrading armor, such as using the engineer trait to increase armor penetrating or the challenger trait to decrease the total weight.

Potion

A potion can be upgraded by putting it in the brewing stand to unlock new effects. The upgrade opens a new level of potion effect and can be repeated for higher levels of potency.

The potions also get a custom color, which can be chosen by the player via /give. The color will affect the area-of-effect clouds as well as the arrows that are generated. In Bedrock Edition the custom potion color is also applied to the particle effects of the potions.

The water bottle, common and thick potions as well as awkward potions now have a new the texture of brewing. In the Creative Inventory potion healing and weakness are now available. The potions are lingering and can be prepared using dragon breath or splash potions and a strong potion with the status effect of Mining Fatigue (duration 4:00). Trinket

A trinket is a small inexpensive piece of jewelry. This can be a necklace, ring, or even a small flag that is used to identify a boat's yard that is lateen. It can also be an gilded trinket connected to the mast of a vessel.

This bizarre trinket appears to be influencing the inhabitants of this maze, making them more common. At its current level the trinket makes all kinds of mimic Xx more popular and gives each floor the chance to have an ebony mimic. This trinket requires a small amount of energy to upgrade.

The magic of the enchanted Scepter appears to alter the dungeon's environment, increasing its likelihood of generating grass and water. This trinket, at its current level, will cause X% of the regular floors to be filled with grass or water. It will not affect glyphs, enchantments or cursed weapons or armor or other items that are created to solve hazards rooms.

Although it appears to be a normal newt's eye, this mysterious object appears to affect your vision in ways that go beyond merely reducing your field of view. This trinket, in its current level, boosts the health benefits of drinking potions of healing and wells of life by X% and grants mind sight on enemies within the Y tile. This is not a stacking feature with Heightened Senses.

After you have completed the Mastery Cave, you can find Trinkets by beating Monsters and inside crates and chests in Skull Cavern. They are not in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.

Place the trinket into the Anvil whenever it is required to be upgraded. This will create an unpredictable effect on the trinket either prolonging its life or strengthening its effects. You can reorge an item upgrader as many times as you want, though it will always have a different effect than the one it was when you forged it.

You can also upgrade your Trinkets at the Alchemy Station by placing them into the Magical Catalyst. It will cost you 6 energy and increase the power of the trinket by only a tiny amount.
