WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades can give you boosts in specific statistics. Each upgrade boosts the level of the Item level upgrade by +3. Each upgrade also boosts an unspecified substat.

Upgraded gear is generally more valuable, unless the item is not required by nature (like FB sorc shields) or a high stat variance (like eth Titan weapons). Upgrades are not as important for those with higher variance due to the requirement to roll a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear by transferring the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any type of weapon or armor. The item upgrader mod used to upgrade the item will be consumed and can't be used again. Upgrades can also be used to create the enchantments.

The upgrader is located in all major cities, and can be accessed at any time to upgrade your gear. To keep your gear up-to-date it is recommended you visit the upgrader each several weeks.

Upgrades can cost more based on the level of the item upgrading, however, they are always cheaper than purchasing new equipment. Upgrades such as upgrading a Benthic chest up to 385 ilvl will cost you 20 recycle points. If you purchase a similar item, it will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are functional items that can be used to upgrade weapons and tools, armor and other accessories. They can be bought by players through NPCs who sell upgrades for items in exchange for a variety of currencies, and may also be found in random treasure lists. Once an upgrade has been purchased it can be applied to any weapon or tool using the help of button, which will display an image of the item at the next upgrade level in the event that the player has enough materials.

Crests

The discount for the entire account will only be applicable if all the slots on the character are filled with high-quality gear.
