The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a fantastic option if you're looking for a robotic mop and vacuum that's mid-range. It gives a great mopping experience, but it lacks the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.

During testing, it was able remove pet hair and dry oats out of medium-pile carpets. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to determine the layout of your home.

iRobot Roomba s9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It is a powerful cleaner and plenty of features that include the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. The robot will learn your cleaning habits, and suggest automated schedules to give you the ultimate hands-free cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once the system is set up you can begin the automated cleaning with a single button press. You can select a general clean, which prioritizes the removal of larger debris such as cereal and rice. Or Best robot vacuum and mop you can select two detailed mappings to ensure that your home is cleaned thoroughly.

This robot vacuum is effective on both floors that are bare and carpet with a low pile. It sucks up large items and does not lose suction as fast as some other models and can pick up pet hair without much difficulty. It's not able to work with high-pile carpets or plush carpets however, iRobot says that future models will be more efficient.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which is focused on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which it hopes will allow it to be able to swaddle furniture and walls. It's a nice change from the hockey puck-like design of robovacs, but we found it to be incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ has a superior filtering system that stops microscopic dust particles and allergens from circulating in your home. We like the statement but not enough to justify a premium price.

Its smart navigation system employs sensors that remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles, like stairs and other barriers, and to tidy up your entire house in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundary markers to ensure that the robot is aware of which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robot that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vacuum settings are as good as those on higher-end models. And its mopping system is even better because its spinning pads scrub your floors much better than an ordinary pad that vibrates.

The only issue is that it does not have a second rubber brush to provide more thorough cleaning, but that's a small cost to pay for if you want one of the best robots available. The robo-vac's dust tank also bigger than those on many of its competitors, and it takes just two or three cycles to fill it, even at the highest dirt level.

As for the mopping system, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes, which are less aggressive than the more powerful ones, produce very little noise, which allows you to work or watch television without interruption. It will gently hit a wall or furniture and then move away if it comes across one.

What really makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost autonomously with very little need for user intervention. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that automatically moves physical trash to the bin hidden in the background and cleans and drys the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app is good at nagging you only when something requires attention, such as the clean water tank running low or a scheduled vacuuming session having been canceled due to a stuffed dust bin.

You can also combine or create actual rooms in order to personalize the way Q Revo handles your home. This feature is beneficial for those who have different flooring in different areas of your home or if you need to regularly get rid of clutter like toys, clothes, and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was among the top performers in my tests, picking up debris from both carpets and hardwoods in its first run. It can also remove wet spills, though I recommend cleaning them off using a clean cloth before bringing the robot in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a premium robot vacuum and mop and more. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum with powerful suction that cleans hard and carpet floors, plus an omni-rotating mop that scrubs tough staining. It also has a self-cleaning station that automatically cleans and empty the mop pads, keeping them clean and ready to be reused. It also features a new sensor system that better detects obstacles, granting it the ability to avoid falling over furniture or other objects.

The biggest difference over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that it is sleeker and more modern design, thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still quite large. It measures over two feet in both height and depth, and weighs nearly four pounds. However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This version is more efficient than the X1 since it charges faster and can clean up 1,500 square feet in a single charge. And it has a larger dustbin that is more durable to hold more debris, making it easier to empty when needed.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that is functional even when you're not at home. It also comes with an intelligent routing feature that allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead of following a predetermined route.

The X2 Omni is the best robot at mopping. Its mop pads rotating clean tough stains and its motor produces a lot of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent too, and it boosts suction when it senses carpets to ensure that it does the job well. It also has a massive battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as powerful as any we've seen in the market for a consumer robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra cheap robot vacuum vacuum and mop is a premium model that offers a number of features that aren't typically found on robots of this price. It can build precise floor maps, recognize different types of flooring and is among the few to automatically wash and dry its mop pads. While these features are nice to have, they also push the L10s Ultra into the category of luxury and could mean it's somewhat more expensive than the average homeowner require.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It's tall and slim with a white finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper, which protects furniture and vacuum cleaners from damage while moving around the home. In the pane in the front is an additional navigation technology in the form of sensors that aid the L10s Ultra maneuver tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the automatic vacuum and mop robot, there is a single button which acts as an on/off switch. By pressing this button, you can activate the vacuum, and pressing it again will shut off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The circular menu in the center of the control panel allows you to choose cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons on the screen will open up the settings menu in which you can modify the way that the L10s Ultra works with your home.

Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technologies to map out your home. This produces a precise floor plan that helps the robot vacuum and mop efficiently and avoid getting stuck in messy areas. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and recognize them and avoid them, which is a great feature for homes with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra offers solid vacuuming performance, clearing 98.4 percent of the debris from our test on the hard floor and taking out all but the most stubborn juice stains. Its mops are also quite efficient, removing 98.4% of debris on our wood, tile and carpet tests. It wasn't as effective at removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
