Bentley Mulsanne Key Celebrates Its Centenary

Bentley's bespoke coachbuilding division, Mulliner, has designed a unique keycase to celebrate the brand's centenary. Made from Dark Stained Burr Walnut and Piano Black veneer, it comes with a flying 'B' paperweight, a set keys bentley (clicking here) and a brochure featuring never-before-seen 1930 8 Litre imagery.

Aesthetics

Bentley is a company who takes its aesthetics seriously. The Continental GT is the most sophisticated open-top Bentley ever made. Design

Bentley is known for its luxurious and ostentatious automobiles and keys, but even the keys are designed to make a statement. The Bentayga key is crafted from sterling silver and features an oversized 'B' logo that lets everyone know you're a Bentley. The key is also engraved with the dates 1919 and 2019 to commemorate the company's centennial.

Bentley Mulliner redesigned and developed the Mulsanne to become the ultimate Grand Touring vehicle. The rear seats were designed to give passengers unmatched comfort and privacy. They were inspired by the luxurious private aircraft. A customized heating, ventilation and air conditioning system has been developed to give each passenger the ideal temperature control.

The Bentley Mulsanne key comes with an open button on the trunk, and another button that starts the car. The key also includes a switch to turn on the parking brake. Secure-A-Key is also available to prevent keyless entry theft. The device is placed inside the remote control key fob and disables it after a few minutes of inactivity, preventing thieves from transmitting the frequency of the key to other devices that can unlock and start the vehicle.

Personalisation

Bentley's Mulliner division allows customers to create their own car. Customers sit at a set of images, referred to "mood stations" and pick a set of photos ranging from picturesque vistas to sporting events - that will inspire them to design their own. The resulting configuration is loaded onto individual R.F.I.D.-enabled keys, which are presented to the guests in a handmade key case.
