The most effective combinations we've tested fold easily in one hand and are sturdy enough to withstand long walks. They're also simple to move, sliding effortlessly over bumps and uneven surfaces. We've seen some combos that can only be connected or detached using straps, which can be a hassle and make it more difficult for parents to secure the car seat and pram 2 in 1 seat correctly.

The only issue is that they're heavy and can be difficult to lift up when carrying a baby in car seats.

Easy to Assemble

Some stroller and car seat combinations are difficult to put together. The UPPAbaby Cruz v2 Combo is one of the easiest travel systems to put together. It even comes with a handy guide. Other models, such as the UPPAbaby Minu and UPPAbaby Vista V2 Thule urban Glide 2 and Baby Trend Snap-N-Go EX Universal were also easy to assemble. The BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo however, is difficult to assemble. It requires two steps connecting the lower anchors and using straps that protect the bottom of the carrier. It's heavy so it takes two people to click the carrier in the base, and then remove it.

In our tests it took us around 5 minutes to put the UPPAbaby v2 together, which is quite quick when you consider the time it saves by not having to take out each piece. The toddler seat can be slid into and removed easily on the majority of these models.
