If you're on a tight budget and don't need a stroller that can double into a car seat carrier the Babyzen Yoyo is a good choice. It comes with a flip-flop-friendly one-step footbrake.

It's easy to push and it is solid when traversing kerbs and woodland trails. It's also easy to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

It's also easy to add or remove attachments, adaptors, or adaptors like the hood for instance, snaps onto the YOYO2 using reassuring clicks and is machine washable at 30deg to prevent staining from rice cakes smushed and half-dissolved carrot puffs. The Xplore also features dual canopies that turn from front to back, providing ample sun coverage for all family members. It has a smaller footprint than some wagons. This might not be suitable for long journeys or napping.

The frame of the Xplore wagon is solid and sturdy, but it does not flex as much as some other wagons that we tested. It is also more difficult to fold than many of the competition and it doesn't close tightly when folded. It is easy to move, however, and can fit through doors that are narrower than 28 inches.

3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side

This basic double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent option for parents seeking an affordable second stroller for their travels. It scored highly in our Strollers & Multiples Test for weight and folded dimensions, meaning it is lightweight and compact when folded and easy to carry and put into a car trunk. It also has an adjustable recline seat that can be adjusted in multiple positions and cup holders for the parent. Other important features include two large hanging storage bags as well as 360-degree front wheels that are shock-absorbing.

It did better in our push and turn test than a lot of the other strollers we tested, but it is still difficult to maneuver over uneven terrain or through narrow doors. The sunshades on it were among the smallest strollers we tested. They only cover the top of the stroller and don't have windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a significantly larger canopy.

The Delta took us just under 3 minutes to put together with an average manual, and none of the components required tools. It's missing certain features we believe are essential in a double stroller. This includes an extra-large basket, reclining seats, and leg rests that can be adjusted.

It can also be used with Maxi-Cosi capsule car seats and comes complete with the light Mico 30 infant car seat, a stay-in-car base, and a reversible car.

It is really easy to maneuver, and the one-hand recline of the seat as well as the super large shopping basket make it simple for parent-tots to get the child in and out quickly. Although it is a narrow pushchair it handled the bumps of everyday life well and went through doorways without any fuss.

The front wheels can be locked in forward positions or let them swivel which is helpful when traversing rough terrain. While walking on the stony path, we let them swivel and it handled this fairly well, though it did appear a little bumpier than others on test.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,

Baby Jogger is famous for their 3-wheeler, all-terrain Jogging pushchairs, however they also make a good range of 4-wheeler strollers. The City Tour 2 is one of their most loved models. It is simple to use and folds up small single stroller enough to fit in the car boot, even with the carrycot attached.

It weighs more than other strollers we test, but since it comes with rubber composite wheels, it feels sturdy and well-made. It is easy to maneuver over different terrains, and even with two kids with shopping bags and other things.

The seat and carrycot both come with hoods with pull-down UV50+ sun canopy extensions. They are waterproof and strong, unlike some other prams' hoods which get whipped back into toddlers' faces.

It doesn't have a lot of storage space but it has a large basket deep enough to accommodate a changing bag or a large amount of groceries. It can also be connected with the Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a travel system for babies up to 20 pounds (car seat and adapters are sold separately). If you require a stroller that can be taken on the road, then the City Tour 2 is an ideal choice.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

Nuna Mixx was a stroller that captured the hearts of a lot of parents when it first came out. It's a single stroller sale made of aluminum that will see you through your baby's first years and beyond. It comes with a variety of notable features, including the possibility of flipping the seat from parent to world-facing, a large UPF 50+ canopy with an eye shade that flips out, a spacious basket and adjustable handlebar.

The wheels are tough and foam-filled which minimises punctures and the chassis has built-in suspension that takes the sting out of rough terrain. Our tester found it to be smooth to push and was able to maneuver it through tight streets with ease.

It locks automatically and folds in just four steps. It can also stand and be rolled around for easier transportation in the boot of your car or down the stairs at home. The travel system is also included with the option to add an additional car seat or carrycot by using the adaptors included. The brakes are simple to use using a single buggy with buggy board action color coded and flip-flop compatible.

7. Babyzen Duet

This budget pushchair is easy to use and has an excellent dual suspension. It can be folded by one hand and comes with a convenient carrying strap. It's also lightweight and durable. The seat can be reclined into many different positions. It also has a double-breathable mattress built in that is suitable for infants.

The canopy/seat comes with two extra-large fixed or flip-out sun visors and both are UPF50+. The toggle closure isn't ideal as it’s not as quiet as Velcro and could awaken napping babies.

The Duet is a stroller with an angled design that can be used by twins or siblings. (Up to 22kg per seat). It can be used with two infant car seat and some carrycots. In twin mode, the seats can be positioned to face each other or can rotate around to face parents, theoretically cutting down on sibling rivalries over who gets to sit with dad and mom. It comes with a large bottle holder, a gear tray as well as snack trays and the ability to change mats. It also has an automatic frame lock and a compact fold.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2

The Thule Urban glide 2 is the ideal stroller for parents who like to be active. It's one of the lightest running strollers that you can purchase for your child. It also comes with amazing safety features, including a 5-point harness and safety wrist strap. It also has an innovative twist hand brake that's different than the lever type that is found on other models.

The seat is well-padded and has a wide area to sit, but the seat's depth is less than other joggers that we've tested (it's approximately 10"). The storage bin has an enclosed zipper to help keep items secure. It can hold up to 10 lbs. This is enough for the majority of diaper bags.

The Urban Glide 2 doesn't come with adapters to fit most bassinets and car seats for infants however, you can use them starting from the first day with adapters that will fit brands like BOB, Graco Combi Evenflo Britax UPPAbaby. It's easy to fold and put together in just 5-10 minutes with no tools. The user manual is easy to read and comes in a variety of languages.
