Its tyres (which are inflatable and require occasionally pumping) come with suspension built-in that was very comfortable for my kids.

Another thing to consider is the size and shape. You want the seat to be big enough to allow your child to feel comfortable and to allow them to lie down. Some three-wheel buggies offer the option of reclining completely, while others will only allow an adult facing one.

Easy to manoeuvre

A three-wheeled buggy is more maneuverable for children. The way they are built means that the front wheels turn on a dime and are really maneuverable which makes them perfect for tricky terrain such as parks, cobbles and bumpy pavements as well as dirt tracks.

MFM reviewer Kath tested a 3 wheeler with her toddler and newborn and said: "The Terrain was a pleasure to navigate over the rough ground and the swivel front wheel being especially helpful. I was also amazed by the way it dealt with kerbs using the hand-operated break. I found it extremely stable when driving downhill or over uneven ground."

The only drawback of this incredible maneuverability is that the 3 wheel buggy's bigger wheels sometimes mean it has to struggle in tight spaces, something to consider if you live in a urban area. If this is an issue, a 4-wheel buggy might be a better choice for you.
