Bentley Mulsanne Key Celebrates Its Centenary

Bentley's custom coachbuilding division, Mulliner, has designed a unique key case to commemorate the brand's centennial. It is made of Dark Stained Burr Walnut and Piano Black veneer, it comes with a flying 'B' paperweight, a set of keys, and a brochure with never-before-seen 1930 8 Litre imagery.

Aesthetics

Bentley celebrated its 100th anniversary in the year 2019 one hundred years after it was founded. Design

Personalisation

Bentley's bespoke division, Mulliner, allows customers to design their own vehicle. The "mood station" allows customers to choose images that inspire them. Bentley claims it takes about 500 man hours to design and assemble the average Mulsanne. The reluctance to embrace modern technology is the primary factor to this time-consuming effort. Instead of using a machine to place the perfectly matched leather seats, workers at the Crewe factory do it by hand. Drivers must park their vehicles manually, not using sensors built into the vehicle to direct them to perpendicular and parallel spaces.
