The desk can be moved between two units with wheels. There are four drawers of storage and two cabinets with doors. The Luna low line loft bed or the midi storage bed is small and packed with everything you require, a ladder that can be turned around, a desk that can slide across the floor on wheels, a three drawer chest and a cabinet that are all included. It's important to note that many midi loft beds with desk require a standard UK single mattress (3ft/90x190cm) with wooden slatted bases. The price of the bed does not include the mattress. We suggest checking our mattress deals to find one that will fit your budget.

Mattress

Most midi beds are fitted with standard UK single mattresses and the top bunk has a safety rail for added security. Some models come with an trundle drawer with a pull-out that can be used for sleepovers or to create more storage space beneath the bed. They can be open or have doors (please check the product's specifications for full information).

A lot of midi cabins have a desk that can be moved from one level to the other, or chests. This gives children a bespoke space for all their belongings and means that there's no need to take the floor space by putting up large wardrobes or shelving units.

A few of the models have even taken it a step further with cabinet-style storage that is flush mounted or part of the headboard or footboard. This is great for storing books and toys.
