The XL Air is a really impressive buggy and it's simple to understand why it has been awarded so many praises from customers. It's incredibly light - both the wheels and chassis weigh just 6.5kg and it's easy to build. In fact, I was able to complete the entire setup and running in just five minutes, which is pretty amazing given that it included the tying of the fabric to the carrycot!

The seat is spacious and comfortable for Annie, who is just 12 months old. The recline lever was simple to operate. There's a good amount of room in the basket and I am awestruck by the fact that it has an open-top pocket on the handle bar so that you can keep your keys and phone safe!

The only slight downside is the handlebar is low, which could be a problem for taller parents. It's covered with soft, supple leather-like material that is easy to wipe down.

Hauck Pushchair Runner

The Runner is designed for athletic parents who want to go outside and explore. Its large pneumatic wheels are designed to be used on forest and field paths and the front 3 wheel buggies can be rotated and locked for additional versatility. The stroller also features a 5-point safety harness with a front bar that keeps your child safe on all journeys. The parking brake keeps the stroller stationary while you take a rest. The comfortable seat is simple to lower to a comfortable lying position, and the canopy opens up to allow for maximum air circulation during hot days. The handle can be adjusted by more than 30 centimeters to accommodate dad or mum's heights.

The Runner will accompany you on any adventure whether it's a leisurely jog, a longer hike, or a long-distance walk. It comes with a lay-flat seat that has suspension air wheels to ensure an easy ride. The front wheel can be locked to provide greater stability on narrow streets or crowded sidewalks. It's the most recent - and priciest - addition to their bargain lightweight stroller collection. It's also like the Ickle Bubba Aurora and Yoyo it's car seat-compatible which means you can use it from the beginning (the carrycot folds away).

The new Pace has some amazing design features, including a rose gold tint to the hood, chassis and stroller trims to make it stand out from its competitors. The stroller and car seat fabrics are fashionable in grey, tan, and cream. You can also choose to add handles made of leather and a bumper bar to match.

The stroller seat can be used from birth to 22kg. It converts easily into a 2-in-1 reversible position, either facing the parent or world-facing. The stroller seat comes with several lie-back positions, plus soft padded legs rests, and an extendable sun canopy with concealed zip sections and a transparent flap, and retractable visor.

What's more, when it's folded in half, the Pace measures up at 56 33 x 43 x 32cm, which is enough to qualify as hand luggage with Easyjet and Ryanair among other carriers. It's also simple to fold, thanks to two buttons on either side of the handlebar that you can click into and pop up.

Bugaboo's Fox 5 is designed to be the ultimate, all-terrain stroller. I tried it out with my two children - an eight-week-old and a toddler - on rough pavements along with grassy wooded trails and even cobblestones.

They also come with a handy flap that opens or closes to allow more air in when you require it, which is a nice touch. It's a bit bigger than some pushchairs, but it doesn't feel bulky or heavy when pushing it across bumpy surfaces.

The fabric of the seat is machine washable, and the frame and faux leather grips are easy to clean. It's also much quieter than many pushchairs and I felt safe using it on busy city streets. It has built-in accessory points, so you can attach parasols and footmuffs along with changing bags, snack trays, and even snack tray. The hood can be used to block rain and wind, however it's not waterproof. It's a single stroller, but you can attach their Comfort Wheeled Board (not included) to give your child more leg room. The bassinet took around 20 minutes to set up and it took about the same amount of time to convert it into a seat.

iCandy's latest pushchair is truly groundbreaking and has a lot of features that are sure to amaze parents. It comes with a multi-mode wheelbase and an LED Visibility Hub light that's a first in the industry. It also features an integrated Ride-on Board which saves on future costs and makes it easy for an exhausted toddler to join your family on outings.

The Core is available as either a travel system or single seat. It works with the most popular car seats, such as those from Cybex Maxi Cosi Joie. It is the largest seat unit in the iCandy line, meaning you can use it for your baby's first years and beyond. Like all iCandy pushchairs, it's luxuriously designed and features premium knitted jersey fabrics. It was quite impressive how quickly it folded and collapsed even with the seat unit still attached. It's also easily tucked away in the boot or hallway making it ideal for travelling.
