Types of single buggies

A buggy that is lightweight can be a great choice for parents who travel frequently or plan to use public transportation with their child, or take a trip on vacation. They typically weigh less than 6kg, and fold down compactly, so they can easily be carried in overhead compartments of flights. Lightweight buggies are also good for travelling around town because they're easy to maneuver. They'll usually include a raincover as well as a sunshade too. A single buggy purchase

A new buggy is an expensive purchase. The majority of pushchairs with bassinets for newborn babies can cost upwards PS700. This is a lot for parents who are on the tightest budget.

The reality is that, absent an area with public transport available or have a huge car boot and spend every weekend in muddy parks, the majority of families buy two buggies. One main sturdier buggy that can be loaded, cope with rough terrain and potentially grow with the family and a lightweight travel buggy for holidays and restricted spaces, like on public transport or crowded streets.

Our advice is to buy a single jogging stroller that you love and then, if your child gets older and you'll need a double, just sell it to another buyer and then purchase the buggy you'd like. This way, you won't be stuck with a novelty that you don't really need.

Double buggy: Buy one
