iLife V3S Pro

The V3s Pro is the least expensive robot we've tested however it still put up an impressive performance in suction tests. It has a long run time and many smart features. For instance, cliff sensors prevent the device from falling, or scratching antique furniture legs. It also has an interactive map feature to point areas that don't need to be cleaned. This will save your time and money in the long run by eliminating unnecessary cleaning.

The V3S Pro performed well in the pet hair test. It was able to collect all of it without the mess of tangled brushes or debris left behind. This makes it an excellent option for pet owners who have carpets and hard surfaces. It also performed well on the dirt and crumbs test taking all of the dirt and crumbs we dropped on the floor without struggle. It also scored very well in the tests for obstacles, maneuvering through all the power cords and furniture we placed in its path.

It has a tiny footprint that makes it easy to maneuver. It also comes with an easy-to-use remote that is simple to use and understand with just one button to press, as opposed to the numerous buttons of many competitors. This is a nice change for those who are looking for a more user-friendly model. It lacks some advanced features, such as smartphone control, and a display showing what it's going to need next (like emptying the bin or charging) but that's the only exception.

In our laboratory tests, the V3S Pro completed our cleaning runs on average in 1 hour and 31 minute. This is 9 minutes quicker than the iRobot Roomba i4+ EVO however, it falls behind the Eufy RoboVac 11S' average of 1:18 and the Shark Ion R85's 1:11. The V3S Pro lacks a brush roll, instead relying on two side brushes that spin to push debris into the three-inch-wide opening at the bottom of the device. It's less effective than nothing, but still superior to nothing.

Roomba I4+ EVO

It is currently selling for $2 less than its previous record price it is the Roomba i4+ EVO is a mid-range robot vacuum from iRobot that provides more features than basic models. It comes with a large dirt bin that can be controlled remotely via the iRobot HOME app, which is compatible with Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa and Apple Siri for voice control. It also has physical controls as well as a Dual Virtual Barrier that allows you to mark areas where the robot should not be able to go in order to protect things like pet bowls and furniture.

Its smart mapping and room-byroom navigation are more effective than the semi-random navigation utilized by many competing robots which allows it to cover more area for cleaning than competitors do. Its high-performance filters prevent dust and other allergens from being released back into the air during cleaning which is a blessing for allergy sufferers.

The Roomba i4+ EVO was one of the top-performing vacuums we tested in picking up food particles from our kitchen floor and taking coffee grounds off of medium-pile carpet. Its cleaning capabilities on unfinished floors was average, but it excelled in removing debris from corners and underneath furniture. It was able to navigate surfaces and didn't get stuck on our power cord or any other stray objects.

Another excellent feature that the i4+ EVO offers that many competing models don't is its i-series Clean Base self-emptying dock, which discharges the device's dustbin into a large bagged bin that is located inside the charging station. This will save you time and effort as you don't have to empty the internal dustbin every day.

Self-emptying features also help to cut down on maintenance requirements and reduces number of times you need to pay for bags that need to be replaced. The HEPA-style filters that iRobot offers, which come standard in the i4+ EVO, help to further decrease the frequency with which you need to buy bags to replace.

The i4+ EVO model is less expensive than the Roomba S9, which is more robust, simpler to maintain, and offers more powerful performance on plain floors as well as low and high-pile carpeting. The Roomba S9 is also compatible with Google Assistant and Alexa, which allows you to begin cleaning with your voice.

Roborock Q5+

The Q5+ is a low-cost robot vacuum thick carpet that has an impressive array of features, including 2700Pa suction power. Its PreciSense Precision LiDAR tech creates 3D maps of rooms, which allow it to navigate and avoid obstacles. For instance, it comes with an energy-efficient 'Quiet' mode that helps conserve battery power when it encounters lightweight debris as well as an initial 'Balanced' setting that performs well on hard surfaces, but it can get bogged down with small amounts of dust and pet hair on carpet; and the powerful 'Max' mode that is ideal for heavy debris and intense cleaning on carpet. However it's a tough time on low-pile carpet shampooer robot, and its small dust compartment gets clogged easily by hair. The brushes on the rear are smaller than many other robot vacuums. I have experienced them getting tangled in my hair a few times. The 11S Max is a little slower than some of its rivals, and is not as precise when mapping out a floor plan.

If you are seeking a more flexible option, the eufy RoboVac 11S can remove pet hair more effectively on different surfaces than the ILIFE. It also has a longer battery life, more advanced navigation system and lower monthly costs. It is also easier to maintain than Shark ION best robot vacuum thick carpet AV753 series however, that rival has a better companion app that performs better on rugs with high pile. It also has a bigger dirt compartment, but it's not as adept at handling large debris like cereal boxes. The bObsweep Bob Pro is similarly more capable than the ILIFE A4s, but it's better-built and has lower costs for recurring use.
