The best robot vacuum for vacuum and mop Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great option if you're looking for a robot vacuum and mop that is priced in the middle. It's got a fantastic mopping capabilities, but is lacking some of the advanced features that are found in its more expensive counterpart.

During tests it was able to remove pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium pile. It doesn't employ LIDAR, however, as other models do, to map your home.

1. iRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It offers impressive cleaning power and a variety of features that include the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. This robot can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest automated schedules to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.

Setup is easy, thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning functions with the click of the button. You can choose a general clean that prioritizes cleaning up larger debris like rice and cereal, or opt for two thorough mappings of your home to ensure your entire home is properly arranged.

This vacuum works well both on bare floors and carpets with low pile. It can take in large objects and doesn't lose suction as quickly as some others do and can remove pet hair with ease. It's not the best robot vacuum mop combo time with plush or high-pile carpet, but iRobot says it will get better with the next models.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that concentrates on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba that adopts a flat-fronted D-shaped design. The company hopes that this will allow it to be able to hug furniture and walls. It's a nice change from the standard hockey puck shape of the majority of robovacs. However, we found it to be marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also features a superior filtration system that blocks microscopic particles and allergens recirculating within your home. It's a nice premise, however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the premium price tag.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors that keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology to map your interior. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles, like stairs and other barriers and to tidy up your entire home in the most efficient manner possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundary markers so that the robot knows the areas that require attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a machine that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vacuum settings are just as good as those on higher-end models. Its mopping system is better because its spinning pads clean your floors more efficiently than an ordinary pad that vibrates.

It's only downside is the absence of a second brush for deeper cleaning. But that's not a major issue when you're looking to purchase one of the top robots available. The dust tank of the robo-vac is bigger than most of its competitors. Filling it up takes only two or three cycles, even when you've got a lot of dirt.

For the mopping system, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. The two mopping modes that it has that are less abrasive than the higher-powered ones create very little noise, which allows you to work or watch TV without interruption. If it comes across a wall or furniture piece it gently bumps into it and then moves along.

What really sets the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly completely autonomously, requiring only a little for human intervention. The dock of the robo-vac is multifunctional and automatically transfers garbage into a bin hidden. It also cleans and dries the clean water tank. The app is adept at alerting you when something needs attention, such as the clean water tank running low or a scheduled cleaning session that was cancelled due to a full dust bin.

You can also create and combine actual rooms to customize the way that Q Revo will treat your home. This is an excellent feature to have if you have several areas of your home with different flooring materials or if there's items that need to be removed frequently, such as toys, clothes and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was among the top performers in my tests, taking debris from both carpets and hardwood floors in the first attempt. It can even remove wet spills but I would suggest cleaning them off with a damp cloth prior to sending the robot in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum that has all the features you could want. It has a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It is similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has an auto-cleaning station that automatically cleans and empty the mop pads, keeping them fresh and ready for reuse. It also has a new sensor system that can better detects obstacles, giving it the ability to prevent falling over furniture and other objects.

The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this version has a sleeker, more modern design, thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best buy robot vacuum and mop known for its Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still big. It is more than two feet in height and depth and weighs in at least four pounds. However the robot as well as its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This version is more efficient than the X1 because it charges more quickly and can clean up 1,500 square feet in a single charge. Additionally, it comes with a larger dustbin that is more durable to hold more debris which makes it easier to empty it when needed.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant and an app that can be used even if you are not at home. It also comes with a smart routing feature that lets it clean specific rooms or areas of your home, instead of following a set path.

The X2 Omni is the top mopping robot. Its mop pads rotating remove tough stains and its motor produces lots of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding too and it increases suction when it senses carpet to ensure it does the job well. It also has a large battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as powerful as the ones we've seen on a consumer-grade robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a premium best robot vacuum cleaner vacuum and mop that comes with a host of features that you do not often find on robots of this price range. It can create detailed floor maps and identify different flooring types. It's also among the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. But while these functions are nice to have, they also make the L10s Ultra more in the luxury category which could make it somewhat more expensive than what some homeowners need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It is tall and slim and has a white-colored finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine features a large bumper that protects the vacuum cleaner and furniture while moving around your home. Sensors are hidden behind the front pane, which helps the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum there is a single button that serves as an on/off switch. By pressing this button, you can activate the vacuum, while clicking it again will shut off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The circular menu located in the center of the control panel lets you to select cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons open the settings of the app where you can alter the way the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technologies to help you map out your home. This creates a precise floor plan that enables the robot vacuum and mop efficiently and avoid getting stuck in messy areas. The LIDAR also assists the robot mop and vacuum combo (www.Stes.tyc.edu.tw) vacuum detect and avoid obstacles which is a great feature for families with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra has a solid vacuuming capability that clears 98.4% of debris from our hardwood floor test and getting rid of all but the most difficult juice stain. The mops also work well in removing 98.4 percent of the debris from our carpet, tile and wood tests. However, it wasn't as effective in removing sand from the floor, or the quaker oats that are on carpet.
