The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a fantastic choice if you are seeking a robot vacuum for pets mop and vacuum that's priced in the middle. It has a great mopping capability, but it lacks some of the advanced features found in its more expensive sibling.

During tests, it was able remove pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium-pile. It does not use LIDAR however, as cheaper models do, to identify your home.

Roomba s9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. It has impressive cleaning power and numerous features such as an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. The robot also learns your cleaning habits and suggest schedules that are automatic for a truly hands-free experience.

It's easy to set up thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once the system is set up, you can start cleaning automatically with just one button press. You can choose an overall clean that emphasizes getting rid of larger pieces of debris such as cereal and rice or go for two detailed maps of your area to ensure your entire home is properly arranged.

This robot vacuum is effective on both bare floors and carpet with a low pile. It sucks up large items and doesn't lose suction as quickly as some others do, and it can even remove pet hair without difficulty. It's not the best time with plush or high-pile carpet, but iRobot claims it will get better with future models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that is focused on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which will allow it to fit into walls and furniture. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are standard, but we found it to be only marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also has a superior filtration system which blocks microscopic particles and allergens recirculating within your home. We like the statement, but not enough to justify a higher price.

Its smart navigation system uses a combination of sensors to remember your home's layout and vSLAM technology to map the interior. This allows it to avoid obstacles, like stairs and other barriers, and to tidy up your entire home in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundaries to ensure that the robot is aware of the areas that require attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that combine vacuuming and mopping and mopping, the Roborock Q revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are as good as those found on higher-end models. Its mopping system is even better - its spinning pads scrub floors more efficiently than the vibrating pads.

The only issue is the absence of a second brush to allow for deeper cleaning. But that's not a major issue for those who want to own one of the best robots on the market. The robo-vac's tank for dust is also larger than many of its competitors and takes only two or three cycles to fill it, even at the highest dirt level.

For the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. The two mopping modes that it has that are less abrasive than the higher-powered ones create very little noise, which allows you to work or watch TV without interruption. If it comes across the wall or a furniture piece it gently bumps into it and moves on.

The Q Revo is unique in that it can run almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac can be multi-functional and automatically transfers garbage into a bin hidden. It also washes, dries and refills the clean water tank. The app is capable of nagging you only when something needs attention, for example, the clean water tank running low or a scheduled vacuuming session having been canceled because of a full dust bin.

You can also design and merge actual rooms to customize how the Q Revo will treat your home. This feature is helpful for those who have different flooring in different areas of your home, or when you have to frequently remove clutter, such as clothes, toys and books. The robo-vac is also efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, removing debris from both carpets and hardwood floors in the first attempt. It can even vacuum up wet spills. I suggest drying them with a towel before sending it into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo that comes with all the features you can want. It comes with a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It's similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with an auto-cleaning station that automatically washes and empties mop pads to keep them fresh and ready for reuse. It also comes with a brand new sensor system that better recognizes obstacles, giving it the ability to prevent falling over furniture or other objects.

The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this version is sleeker and more modern design thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). Although it's still quite large--it's more than two feet high and deep and weighs in excess of four pounds--the robot and its base are much smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This version is also more efficient than the X1, as it has faster battery charging and can complete a cleaning of approximately 1,500 square feet on one charge. Additionally, it comes with a larger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris, making it easier to empty when required.

Lastly it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app as well as voice assistant that operates offline, allowing you to control it even when you're not at home. It also has more mopping modes and an intelligent routing feature that gives it the flexibility to clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead just following a specific route.

The X2 Omni is the most effective mopping performance of any robot we've tested, because of its mop pads rotating to clean tough stains away and a motor that produces plenty of downward pressure. The vacuuming capabilities are also top-notch, and it boosts suction when it detects carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It also has a large battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as powerful as any we've seen in an ordinary robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a high-end mop and robot vacuum that comes with a host of features that you don't often see on robots at this price. It can build detailed floor maps, identify different flooring types and is one of the few to automatically wash and Best Robot Vacuum and Mop dry its mop pads. These features are nice, but they also place the L10s in the luxury category. This could mean it's more expensive than what homeowners want.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It is tall and slim with a white finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is adorned with an impressive bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner as you move around your home. In the pane in the front is additional navigation technology in the form of sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, there's one button that basically acts as an on/off switch. Clicking this will turn on the vacuum, and pressing it again will shut off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The circular menu at the center of the control panel allows you to select cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons below the screen will open up the app's settings menu where you can alter the way that the L10s Ultra works with your home.

Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation techniques to map out your home. This produces a precise floor plan that allows the small robot vacuum vacuum and mop efficiently and avoid getting stuck in areas with clutter. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and recognize them as obstacles, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra offers solid vacuuming performance which clears 98.4 percent of debris from our hard-floor test and getting rid of all but the most difficult juice stain. Its mops also do a great job in removing 98.4% debris from our carpet, tile and wood tests. However, it wasn't as efficient in dealing with sand on the floor, or Quaker oats on carpet.
