GE Profile Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The name implies that the GE Profile series is targeted at the consumer who wants to incorporate cutting-edge technologies in their kitchen. This fridge is loaded with them all from the Keurig K cup coffee maker inside the door to a smart dispenser of water. But these flourishes don't mask mediocre performance, especially in the refrigerator's freezer and an ineffective temperature-controlled drawer. Since this refrigerator costs a premium, I expect higher quality.

Aside from that blip the fridge is a fantastic choice. It features a large freezer compartment that is not common for counter-depth french fridge freezers uk-door fridges. It also holds a lot of frozen food compared to other models.

The fridge has 17 shelves and compartments. The fridge compartment offers 18.5 cubic feet of space, which is roughly on the same as an French door fridge that costs this much. It has a decent sized icemaker in the left door. However, it's not the largest one I've seen.

You can adjust the shelves in both compartments for a custom storage solution. The interior design of the GE PYE22PYNFS is also attractive. Its LED lighting is a nice addition and the storage bins come with the third shelf, which folds down so that you can store items that are tall. The drawers come with temperature controls so you can set them to Meat, Beverage, or Deli settings. They're easy to open and close, although I found their plastic textured coatings a bit rough on the fingers.

The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator comes with all the features you'd expect from a refrigerator in this price range. It has Wi-Fi as well as app support, and GE's SmartHQ Software. The app is compatible with iOS and Android devices and allows you to control your refrigerator from any place across the globe. It also has a lot of customization options. It will also send you notifications when the door is unlocked, when the fridge or freezer needs to be defrosted, and when the filter has to be changed.

It is nice to have GE PYE22PYNFS offered Precise fill, an option available in a handful of GE refrigerators that allows users to choose the amount of cups they wish to disperse. It does have a countdown feature on the fridge's display to show how much water you have left, but it's not as helpful as Precise Fill.

Bosch Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The Bosch French-door Refrigerator is a striking piece. It's designed to appear like it's a seamless part in your kitchen. The fridge uses fingerprint-resistant stainless steel, which is a great feature for busy households. It also has a vegetable compartment that keeps vegetables and fruits fresher for longer and has dual compressors to ensure maximum preservation of food. The ice maker is one of the best we've ever tested and produces pyramid-shaped Ice with low water consumption. This refrigerator is the ideal option for a single family or kitchenettes who want an integrated look and top-of-the-line food preservation.

This refrigerator was the highest-rated refrigerator in our Refrigerators test, for various reasons. The freezer temperatures remained steady at a level that was just above 0 degrees Fahrenheit and never changing more than a fraction of a degree--this is key to preventing freezer burn. The fridge section of the fridge also performed well, reaching the temperature that was set for the initial setting within an hour and maintaining that temperature steady throughout the course of our testing.

Bosch is known for its top-quality appliances. Therefore, it's no surprise that the Bosch counter depth fridge can be connected to your home Wi Fi and Bosch's platform Home Connect. The app allows you to control and monitor the refrigerator remotely using your smartphone or tablet. The fridge is a bit expensive, however it has top-quality features and functions for the price.

LG Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The LG LRFLC2706S is an excellent counter-depth refrigerator that packs a lot of storage into a compact frame. It has a sleek, fingerprint-resistant stainless-steel finish and features thick handles that make them comfortable to grip. The fridge is built with a standard French door design, with two rows of shelves that can be used to capture spills and a set crisper drawers. The upper right shelf can be folded down to give taller items more space. There's also a full-width drawer to store food items and an internal water dispenser.

This refrigerator has a freezer with an ice maker making it easy to transfer the frozen ice as needed. The freezer also has thoughtful design features, like sliding drawers that help you organize your belongings. It also has a large container for storing frozen food and a separate one for ice.

Smart InstaView panel is a cool feature of the refrigerator. It lets you manage the refrigerator's temperature and lighting via your smartphone. It's a simple method to keep track of your fridge and manage it, especially when you're not at home.

However, while the Smart InstaView is a neat feature, it does not necessarily add to the overall performance of the refrigerator. In fact it took a bit longer to defrost and chill foods in this fridge as compared to other fridges we test. This could be due to the greater capacity.

Another issue with the doors of this refrigerator. The handles that are sunken let shorter people open them from the bottom. However, taller people still have a hard time closing them without slamming. It would have been more effective to have front-mounted handles.

The LG Counter-Depth MAX is a good choice for those who want to combine the advantages of a French-door fridge's aesthetics with an efficient layout. It has a capacity that is superior to counter-depth models and is able to cool evenly. It's also less expensive than the best counter-depth refrigerator that has an ice maker, which can make it an attractive option.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

If you're looking for a French door refrigerator that won't cost a fortune and isn't expensive, this Frigidaire is a solid option. It's a minimalist design that's not as striking in appearance as some of the competition however it comes with enough features to make it a good option. Its main feature is the temperature adjustable drawer, which helps keep foods such as meat and vegetables fresher for longer. It also has a large water dispenser and a decent ice maker that operates quickly.

Another nice feature is the "Chill Drawer" that sits over the two crisper bins. This drawer lets you redirect some of the fridge's cooling power directly to this area, so you can store foods that require special attention. This feature is adjustable using a slider on the outside of the drawer. You can also set the general cooling settings for the entire fridge. I have found that the generic settings work better than the specific ones.

In my tests, the temperatures of the refrigerator were fairly constant across the different areas of the fridge. The temperatures in the middle, top and bottom of the refrigerator did not differ much from 38 degrees.
