Concealed Weapon Slot

The concealed weapon slot is a special slot that allows you to bring guns into the course of. Some players use this to aid in achieving certain goals, especially those going for Suit Only. Some prefer having the additional pistol to make a gap closer. It is important to remember that in order to select the pistols that belong in this slot you must click on the button for the appropriate category such as alternate slot 2 machine guns. Being able to have Major Expedition and Adept Rider on makes it simpler. This combo also gives you an attack tick from the Concealed Weapon every 10 seconds for as long as it is placed in.

Slot for items that are smuggled

The smuggled item slot an excellent option for allowing players to bring in tools and weapons, however it could benefit from a more streamlined option. It's currently shaped like pistols, that makes it difficult to distinguish the smuggled items slot from other gear scatter slots.

The smuggle slots are used to store a range of items ranging from concussion devices to weapons grade explosives to subtle concussions. These items can be found in hidden places around the map. They can also be retrieved at anytime. These items are distinct from Agency Pickups and Hidden Stashes, which conceal only small objects in the scenery, and objects directly.

Mission planning is an option available in episodic missions. It lets players unlock various starting locations as well as smuggled items and gear slots prior to stepping into the map. The options for planning increase as players progress through challenges and unlock higher Mission Mastery levels. This allows players to design the perfect mission for each difficulty.

Gear Slot

The real money slots for gear will quickly fill up early in the game, leading to the dreaded message "Your Gear Slots Are Full". This message will prevent Max to select new equipment until the old ones are removed or a larger space has been accumulated. The solution to this issue is the Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials which offer more inventory space in exchange for completing challenging missions. However, because many of these challenges are scattered throughout the globe and are easily missed, it can take an extended time to obtain the maximum number of inventory slots available in-game.

Each player has up to five different types of gear in their five Gear Top Winning Slots. They must be selected from the Gear Selection menu prior to a Break-In. Each gear item (except the Pistol) will take up one Gear Slot while a set of similar items (like Grenades that are of the same type) only uses one Gear Slot.

Agency pick-ups

As you advance through the Mission Mastery levels you unlock various agency pickups on the map. These locations allow you to store items that do not fit in your concealed slot for gear or weapon and then retrieve it later.

These pickups can be very useful in situations where your job requires you to pass through a frisk, or if you have a weapon on you that could raise suspicion. You are only able to hide one item in a pickup location.

This DLC also adds new asset protection and security contracts to the agency. To start these missions, simply talk to the agency receptionist and purchase armor and snacks. Once you have reached the mission marker be sure to identify a group when you arrive.
