Slot Missions in Hogwarts

Slot missions are a great method to earn gear weapons, equipment and much more. They're difficult to complete.

In this video slot, which was inspired by Jackie Chan, you can join a group of fighters who are seeking to earn cash and pardons. Help them free slots captured generals. Earn up to 50,000x the amount you bet per line.

Concealed Weapon Slot

The concealed weapon slot is a special slot that allows you to bring guns into the course of. Some players use this to help reach certain achievements, especially those going for Suit Only. Others prefer to have the extra pistol as an additional gap. It's important to remember that in order to select the pistols that belong in this slot, you need to click on the button for the appropriate category such as alternate slot 2 machine guns. Being able to have Major Expedition and Adept Rider active makes this much easier to do. This combo can also trigger a damage tick from Concealed Weapon every 10 seconds as long as it is in the slot.

Smuggled Item Slot

The smuggled item slot is a great feature that allows players to bring weapons and other tools into the game, but it can be improved. It's currently shaped as a pistol which makes it hard to differentiate the smuggled item slot from other slots in the gear.

The smuggle slot can hold a large variety of objects, ranging from simple concussion devices to explosives that are weapon-grade. These items are covertly stashed in hidden locations around the map and are able to be recovered at any moment. The items that are smuggled differ from Agency Pickups or Hidden Stashes which hide only small objects in scenery and objects.

Mission planning is a feature available in short-term missions that allow players to unlock different starting locations equipment, smuggled items, and slots ahead of their entry into the map. The options for planning increase as players advance through challenges and gain higher Mission Mastery levels. This gives players the ability to design the perfect mission for each challenge.

Gear Slot

The game's beginning players will find their gear slots quickly become full, resulting in the dreaded "Your Gear 3D slots are full" message that prevents Max from picking new equipment until the old ones are cleared or a larger space is obtained. The solution is the Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials which give players more inventory space in exchange for the completion of challenge missions. However, because the majority of these challenges are scattered throughout the world and could be missed it could take a long time to acquire the maximum number of inventory slots available in-game.

A player's five Gear Slots can be filled with up to five different types of gear. These must be selected in the Gear Selection menu before a break-in begins. Each gear item (except for the Pistol) will take up one Gear Slot, while a grouping of similar items (such as the grouping of Grenades) only takes up one Gear Slot.

Agency Pickups

As you progress through Mission Mastery levels, you unlock various agency pickups across the map. These locations let you keep items that do not fit into your concealed slot for weapons or gear and then retrieve it later.

These pickups are useful if your mission requires you to go through a frisk, or if you carry a weapon with you that could raise suspicion. You can only keep one item at a time at a location that is a pickup for the agency.

This DLC also includes new asset protection and security contracts to the agency. To start these missions, just talk to the receptionist of the agency and purchase armor and snacks. Then, go to the designated marker and spot a group when you arrive.
