Slot Missions in Hogwarts

Slot missions are an excellent opportunity to earn equipment weapons, gear and other items. But they're also hard to do.

Concealed Weapon Slot

The concealed weapon slot is a unique slot that lets you bring pistols in to a mission. Some people make use of it to reach certain goals, especially those who aim for Suit Only. Others simply prefer to have the extra pistol as an extra weapon to close the gap. If you are using this slot, it is important to remember that you will need to click on the corresponding pistol category button, like the slot machine bonuses 2 alternative for machine guns, in order to select them. The presence of Major Expedition and Adept Rider on makes it simpler to accomplish. This combo adds a damage tick every 10 seconds from the concealed Weapon for as long as it is in the slot.

Slot for items being smuggled

The smuggled item slot is an excellent option for allowing players to bring weapons and tools, but it could benefit from a more streamlined affordance. It's currently shaped as a pistol which makes it difficult to differentiate the smuggled item slot from other gear slots.

The smuggle slots can be used to store a wide variety of items - from concussion devices and weapons grade explosives to subtle concussions. These items can be found in a variety of hidden places around the map. They can also be found any time. The items that are smuggled are different from Agency Pickups and Hidden Stashes that hide only small objects in the scenery, and objects directly.

Mission planning is an option available in the form of episodic missions. It allows players to unlock various starting locations, smuggled objects and gear slots prior to stepping into the map. As players advance through challenges and unlock new Mission Mastery levels, these options for planning expand. This lets players prepare the ideal mission for each challenge.

Gear Slot

The gear slots will quickly get full early in the game, which will result in the common message "Your Gear Slots Are Full". This message will prevent Max from acquiring new equipment until the previous items are taken away or space has been accumulated. The solution to this problem is the Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials which give players more inventory space in exchange for completing challenge missions. However, since many of these challenges are scattered throughout the globe and are easily missed, it can take an extended time to obtain the largest amount of inventory slots available in-game.

The five Gear Slots of a player can be filled with up to five different types of gear. These must be selected from the Gear Selection menu before a Break-In can begin. Each individual gear item (except the Pistol) will take up one Gear Slot while a set of similar items (like a group of Grenades of the same type) only has one Gear Slot.

Agency pick-ups

As you progress through the Mission Mastery levels you unlock various agency pickups on the map. These locations allow you to store an item that does not fit in your concealed slot for weapons or gear and then retrieve it later.

These pickups are especially useful if you have to go through a frisk at the end of the mission or if you're carrying a weapon that would otherwise cause suspicion. However, you can only hide one item per game at a pickup location for agencies.

This DLC adds new contracts to asset protection and security to the agency. Contact the receptionist at the agency and stock up on snacks and armor. Once you've reached the marker, identify a mob at the time you arrive.
