Bentley Mulsanne Key Celebrates Its Centenary

Mulliner Bentley's coachbuilding unit bespoke, has designed a distinctive keycase to mark the 100th anniversary of the company. Made from Dark Stained Burr Walnut and Piano Black veneer, it includes a flying "B" paperweight, a set of keys, and a brochure with never-before-seen 1930 8 Litre images.

Aesthetics

As a design-centric company Bentley takes its aesthetics seriously. It is evident in the precise positioning of its quilting and the use of leather from cattle by-products, the wood from sustainably-managed forests, as well as the unique patterns of its levers. The Continental GT is Bentley's most sophisticated open-top car. A century after its inception, Bentley - now under sole Volkswagen ownership after years of fighting with BMW it celebrated its centenary in 2019. Before pandemic planning took center stage, the marque was hosting a variety of special events and launches planned to commemorate this significant occasion.

Design

Bentley is known for its extravagant and lavish automobiles however, even bently keys are designed to stand out. The Bentayga key is crafted from sterling silver and has an oversized 'B' logo that tells everyone you're a Bentley. The key is also inscribed with the dates 1919 and 2019 to mark the company’s centenary.

Bentley Mulliner redesigned and bentley Key repair redesigned the Mulsanne to become the ultimate Grand Touring vehicle. It features two opposing sets of rear seats that are inspired by luxury private aviation offering passengers unbeatable comfort and security. A custom heating, air conditioning and ventilation system was designed to provide each passenger with the ideal temperature control.

Alongside a series of elegantly executed styling revisions as well as a suite of stylishly executed styling revisions, the Mulsanne is powered by twin-turbocharged 6.75-litre W12 engine that produces 560bhp and 479lb-ft of torque. This prodigious power is complemented by a new suspension design that gives Bentley's trademark hushed ride.

In celebration of its Centenary, Bentley introduced a bespoke specification known as the Centenary Specification for cars manufactured in 2019. The cabin features cross-stitching and contrast stitching in Centenary Gold throughout. The Bentley Wings on the headrests and seats are embossed in Centenary Gold, adding to the feeling of celebration. The Centenary Specification also includes a bespoke Bentley keycase, completing the Bentley experience.

Function

The Bentley Mulsanne key features buttons that open the trunk, and another button that turns on the car. It also has a button to activate the parking break. The knob can be used to fold or unfold the mirrors if you are parking in a tight spot. This feature helps you get in and out of your vehicle.

Each key takes about two days to create. The key is cut by hand, shaped, stitched after which it is sealed and polished to produce a premium result. It is light and compact and matches the bentley key programming key perfectly. Its design is akin to the Volkswagen Phaeton large car's key however, it feels heavier and has a more premium feel.

Secure-A-Key is also included to help stop keyless entry theft. The device is inserted into the remote-control fob, and then shuts it off if the key is not used for more than a few minutes. It prevents thieves from transmitting the key's frequency to other devices which will allow the key to be opened and start the car.

Bentley's distinctive design reflects company's values of fine craftsmanship, engineering expertise, and cutting-edge technology. Over 4,000 employees work at the Crewe headquarters, where they are responsible for the design, development and production of Bentley key repair automobiles. Personalisation

Bentley's bespoke division, Mulliner, allows customers to create their own car. The "mood station" allows guests to select images that inspire them. They can range from beautiful landscapes to sporting events. After each selection is made, a pattern emerges that reveals the model and color preferences of the custom Bentley.

The guests are given the keys in a case designed by hand that contains the R.F.I.D. enabled key cards. The keys can also be equipped with Bentley Muliner Personalised Welcome Lamps that illuminate the door's opening pathway with the owner's name or logo as they make their way towards the vehicle.

Bentley estimates that it takes about 500 man-hours to construct and construct the Mulsanne. The inability to adopt modern technology is the primary factor Bentley Key Repair to this time-consuming task. Instead of using a machine to place the perfectly matched cross-stitched leather seats, workers at the Crewe factory do it by hand. Drivers are required to park their vehicles manually, instead of using the built-in sensors to guide them into perpendicular and parallel spots.

The event also saw Bentley showcased its Mulliner personalization capabilities with an exclusive example of the Mulsanne W.O. The Mulsanne W.O. Edition pays tribute to the founder William Osler Bentley. The 100 limited edition cars include keys that display an item from the 1930 8 Litre crankshaft.
