The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a good option if you're looking to buy a mid-priced cheap robot vacuum cleaner vacuum and mop. It offers a great mopping experience, but doesn't have the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

During testing it was able to handle dust and dry oats on carpets of medium pile and pet hair on hard floors. However, like cheaper models, it doesn't use LIDAR to help you map your home.

1. IRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the most highly-rated robots. It is a powerful cleaner and plenty of features that include a self-emptying dirt compartment built into its charging base. This robot can recognize your cleaning habits, and suggest automated schedules to give you the ultimate hands-free cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once the system is in place it can begin cleaning automatically with just one button click. You can select an overall clean which focuses on the elimination of larger debris such as rice and cereal. You can also opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that the entire home is completely cleaned.

This vacuum works well on both floors with no carpet and carpets with a low pile. It is able to pick up pet hair and sucks large items up. It doesn't lose its suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It's a challenge with carpets that are high-pile or plush however iRobot promises that the next models will be better.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that focuses on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which will allow it to fit into furniture and walls. It's a nice change from the standard hockey puck shape of the majority of robovacs. However, we found it to be only incrementally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with an advanced filtration system which blocks microscopic particles and allergens recirculating in your home. It's a nice claim however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the price price.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors to keep track of the layout of your home and vSLAM to map your interior. It can then clean your entire home efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home app lets you manage the robot and plan cleaning times, as well as set up virtual boundary markers, so that it knows to avoid areas that require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it comes to robots that combine mopping and vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q revo is a standout. Its vac settings are as effective as those on higher-end models and its mopping feature is superior, as its spinning pads do a much more impressive job of cleaning your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

It's only downside is the absence of a second brush for deeper cleaning. However, it's not a problem when you're looking to purchase one of the top robots available. The robo-vac's dust tank is larger than many of its competitors and it takes only two or three cycles to fill it, even with the highest dirt level.

For the mopping device, [empty] I was amazed by its ability to scrub hard-to-clean dirt from my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes, which are less aggressive than the high-powered ones, create minimal noise, allowing you to work or even watch television without interruption. If it comes across a wall or furniture piece it gently bumps into it and then moves on.

The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost autonomously, best vacuum robot with mop with little user involvement. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that automatically transfers physical garbage into the bin hidden in the background and also washes and drys mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app is good at alerting you when something is in need of attention, such as the clean water tank running low or a scheduled cleaning session being cancelled due to a full dust bin.

You can also create and merge rooms to modify the way that Q Revo treats your abode. This feature is useful when you have different flooring in different areas of your home, or if you need to regularly remove clutter, such as clothes, toys, and books. The robot vacuum was also among the best performers in my tests, picking up debris on both carpets as well as hardwood floors on the first pass. It is able to even clean up spills that are wet but I would suggest drying them using a clean cloth before bringing the robot into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a premium robot vacuum and mop and more. It comes with the ability to rotate mops and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It's akin to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with an auto-cleaning station that automatically cleans and empty the mop pads, keeping them clean and ready for reuse. It also comes with a sensor that can detect obstacles better and prevents it from falling onto furniture and other objects.

The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS the X1 Deebot is its sleeker, modern design. This is due to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. While still quite big--it's over two feet in height and depth and weighs nearly four pounds--the robot itself and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This version is also more efficient than the X1 one, because it charges faster and can complete a cleaning of about 1,500 square feet with just one charge. It also has a larger and more durable dustbin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant and an app that works even when you're not at home. It also has a smart routing function that lets it clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead of following a predetermined path.

The Omni X2 Omni has the best vacuum that mops mopping performance of any robot mop for Laminate floors we've tested, because of its mop pads that rotate to clean tough stains away and a motor that creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is also outstanding, and it also increases suction when it senses a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has a massive battery that can last for weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as efficient as anything we've seen in a consumer-grade robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a top-quality model that has a range of convenience features not often found on robots in this price range. It is able to create detailed floor maps and detect various flooring types. It's also among the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are nice, but they also make the L10s more of a premium category. This might make it more expensive than what homeowners want.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It's tall and slim and has a white-colored finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine features an enormous bumper that shields the vacuum cleaner and furniture as you move around your home. In the pane in the front is additional navigation technology in the form of sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button that acts as an on/off switch. This button will turn on the vacuum. By pressing it again, you can shut it off and send it back to its base station. The circular menu in the middle of the control panel lets you to select cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons open the app's settings where you can customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technologies to help you map out your home. This allows the robot to vacuum and mop effectively without getting stuck. The LIDAR also helps the robot vacuum detect and avoid obstacles and obstacles, which is a wonderful feature for households with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra is an efficient vacuum cleaner, which removes 98.4 percent of debris from our test on hard floors, and taking out all but stubborn juice staining. Its mops also do a great job, removing 98.4 percent of the debris from our carpet, tile, and wood tests. It was not as efficient in removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
